Name : Nokuta(Meaning nocturne) Clan

Village : Oto-gakure

Clan Members : Only known member; that is living, is Kenshobi Nokuta

Clan abilities : The ability to perform Jutsu through musical instruments.

History :

About 25 years ago, in a time where Orochimaru was still alive, there were a couple, Kiin and Asami Nokuta. They were traveling musicians, but were "owned" by a greedy man. They were booked for shows three times a day. Kiin, who was Ken's mother, a flute player, and his father, Asami, a violinist.

They were fed up with the greedy mans treatment to them. According to them, music was a gift, a performance, but not a tool! They ran, the contract that binded them was just a formality.
They had heard of a new village that promised a place of freedom and protection. It was a dream come true, they set out for the Village Hidden in the Sound.

They're journey was long, but they made it none the less. They had arrived, they were welcomed, and given a home. Was this paradise? Certainly not, there was a price. Upon entering the village they had sold they're bodies to Orochimaru. He was free to do whatever he wanted, there was no one to say anything about it.

The tests were not painful, there were many blood-transfusions, and many drugs of unknown contents, were injected into they're bodies. It was a long and frightening proccess, in which the outcome was something surely to open some eyes.

The tests were a success apparently, they were sent to a special camp. There they learned some of the ninja basics, including survival, combat, and chakra control. Once they had mastered the basics, they were asked to play they're instruments, while channeling chakra. They were able to perform jutsu without hand-signs, the outcome were based on notes played. They were a lethal weapon at Orochimarus control. They were told to gain more power, and in time they would be tested.

They did what they were told, they practiced many musical melodies. Though the unexpected was pulling they're strings of faite. Kiin had become pregnant. Orochimaru was surpisingly, yet menacingly, approving. He wanted to know if this gift was hereditary.

Over due time, Kenshobi Nokuta, was brought into the world of shinobi. He became very talented in his bloodline. So talented in fact, he had set a bar of progress. A bar that could not be followed by his parents, they were gifted musicians, but it was not the same when it came to there musical talents and the ninja art. He lived, breathed, and played his music at all times.

Orochimaru wasn't pleased, the first generation of Nokuta were deemed failed experiments. They were sent to death. Without his parents around, Ken noticed that the sound village was not the place for an aspiring musician. He could care less about the ninja art.

Without question, Ken, the last member of the Nokuta clan, left the sound village. He has gone through many challlenges, faced many enemies, but to this date, he is free from the sound village. He is all but a distant memory to them. This is the short, but living history of the Nokuta clan.
