Akatsuki or not?

Alright, heres the deal.

Okay so, i'm working on my charecters and i'm pretty solid on a history but i really don't know where to go with his future. I'm thinking an akatsuki member because of a unique skill, that can be very useful for capturing the tailed beasts, and no, not a "Omgz wowsers my skillz just layed down the law. lolzerz we gotz another one in one hit from my mightyness. LAWL." Definatley not, but something helpful none the less.

But I've been brushing up on the plot and i have a few questions.

Are the akatsuki still even part of the plot?

If so are they in want of new members?

What are they're goals, do they even want the tailed beasts? Or are they focused mainly on the medallions i've heard so much about?

Am i pretty?

Wait....don't answer that last one. But anways, answers are appreciated

The Akatsuki are disbanded. They haven't been apart of the site for a year or so, if I remember when they disbanded correctly.

This new group is more just a mis-match of rogues that Kusabana Sumiko contacted and handed them these medallion pieces. She sent them off with only the knowledge that the pieces are very powerful, hold an element each, aaaand that's about it. Each person finds out the effects of the medallion on their own and does what they will.

I think that's about it as far as the questions you posted thus far.

Thanks a million. I guess my charecter will just have to wonder around a bit. He's not the type to take action in his own hands, so maybe he'll just have to get involved with a bad egg who wants to use him. Or something along those lines. Bleh, planning.
